Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin marks Birthday, visits school with classmates Sadiq Daba & Saidi Balogun, mentor Students .

In what has become an annual event, Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin today returned to school, to commemorate her Birthday celebration. Dressed in the uniform of Omole Senior Grammar School, Omole estate, Ikeja, Lagos, Dr. Odumakin arrived the school premises during the early morning devotion which threw the entire school into an uproar as they saw her in school uniform, making her look like a teenager again.
Student Joe was accompanied into the school premises wearing uniform by ace actor, Saidi Balogun, Veteran Broadcaster, Sadiq Dabah and some members of the Civil Society, Nollywood Star @AmbQueenBlessingEbigieson who all joined her to observe the morning proceedings at the School's Assembly ground.
Dr. Joe alongside the duo of Saidi Balogun and Sadiq Dabah thereafter addressed the students, on the topic; Truancy, Drug Abuse, Cultism and Assertiveness at the assembly ground.
Sadiq Dabah admonished students to stay away absolutely from engaging in the abuse of substance, drugs and other activities that can become a hindrance to the actualization of their ambitions and expectations of their parents.
On his part, Mr. Saidi Balogun emphasised on the place of moral uprightness and discipline, in achieving quality education and it's eventual role, in lifting the society, when it is the turn of today's Students, to occupy position of leadership in the larger society tomorrow.

Earlier, the Principal of the school, Mrs Patricia Gbadegesin in her welcome expressed the excitement of the entire school, over the decision of Dr. Joe to share such an auspicious moment with Students of the school, describing her as not a role model for the students alone, but the entire men and women both young and old in Nigeria and beyond.
Student Joe who after her speech, which was applauded with loud responses of: “Yes we Can.” asked the students to distance themselves from all forms of social vices, ranging from Cultism, Drug Abuse and Addiction and develop the culture of assertiveness, as potential leaders of the society.
"We have a duty to guide you towards your future, and I have decided to use this occasion to let you know that, and the reason for being here today."
She also used the occasion, as dual to distribute free books and writing pen to the students.
